This policy explains how the organiser of the CESTE 2027 International Road Conference & EXPO collects and uses personal data, on what legal basis, for how long it is kept, and what rights you have over it.
The controller is PLENORIA d.o.o., Zvonigradska 14, HR-10000 Zagreb, Croatia, OIB 69996420118 — the technical organiser of the CESTE conference.

For each attendee: first and last name, e-mail address, telephone number and, optionally, an academic or professional title. For the invoice: company name, address, VAT number or OIB, and country. We use this to register you, to issue the proforma invoice and the invoice, to send you your ticket, and to admit you at the entrance.
For each author and co-author: first and last name, e-mail address, telephone number, title, institution and its address, together with the paper title, its summary and the file you upload. We use this to review the paper, to inform you of the decision, and to prepare the programme and the proceedings.
Company name and address, VAT number, the logo file, and the name, e-mail address and telephone number of the contact person. We use this to agree the sponsorship and to present sponsors on the website and in conference materials.
Each ticket carries a code that is scanned at the entrance. Scanning records that the attendee has arrived; it is used for admission and for counting attendance, not for tracking movement during the conference.
If you contact us by e-mail or telephone, we keep that correspondence for as long as it takes to deal with your enquiry and to keep a record of it.
During the CESTE 2027 Conference, the Organiser may photograph and video record lectures, panel discussions, exhibition areas, networking and social events, and other activities related to the Conference.
Photographs and video recordings may be used for the purposes of documenting and reporting on the Conference, as well as for informing the public about and promoting the CESTE Conference and its future editions. Such materials may be published on official websites, social media channels, newsletters, presentations, electronic and printed publications, and other promotional materials of the Organiser.
Participants who do not wish to be intentionally or individually photographed or recorded may inform the Organiser or the staff at the registration desk. The Organiser will take reasonable organisational measures to ensure that such persons are not the subject of individual or focused photographs or recordings.
Due to the nature of the event and the number of participants, individuals may incidentally appear in the background of photographs or video recordings or in wide-angle images of the venue, audience or event.
If a participant believes that a published photograph or video recording unjustifiably interferes with their privacy, they may contact the Organiser at info@ceste-conference.com to request that the removal of the relevant material be considered.
The Organiser will use photographs and video recordings with due regard for the privacy and dignity of participants.
We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it on for anyone else's marketing. It is seen only by the organiser's staff who need it, and by the service providers who run the systems on our behalf: the web hosting provider, the e-mail provider, the bank handling payments, and the accountancy firm. They act on our instructions and are bound to keep the data confidential. Where a law requires it, we disclose data to the competent authorities.
Data is stored on servers within the European Union. We do not transfer it to third countries.

This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies and no third-party tracking. Nothing is stored in your browser that would let us or anyone else follow you across other websites.
Your browser does keep two small settings locally: which language you chose, and whether you have already closed the news notice. They stay on your device, are never sent to us, and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings. The administration area, which only the organiser's staff use, sets a session cookie needed to stay signed in.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and your IP address becomes known to them in the process.
The website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to the administration area is limited to named accounts with passwords, uploaded files are stored outside the public web root, and only staff who need the data can reach it.
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date below. For a substantial change affecting participants, we will also notify registered attendees by e-mail.
